Getting to selfish pilates from Carmichael

from north carmichael

the shortest hop. work your way over to manzanita avenue and head south. you'll cross winding way, then california ave, then marconi — keep going one more block past marconi and take a left on walnut. the studio is right there on your left.

if you're north of fair oaks blvd, palm drive → manzanita south is the cleanest line. five minutes, two turns, done.

from west carmichael

head east on marconi avenue — it's the spine you'll be on no matter where you start over here. cross eastern, cross engle, and just before you hit manzanita take a right on walnut. studio's a quarter mile down on your right.

locals who live near ancil hoffman park sometimes cut through on california ave east → manzanita south → walnut instead. same arrival time, fewer lights.

from south carmichael

take fair oaks boulevard north until it meets manzanita avenue. left on manzanita, head north about half a mile, then right on marconi, then a quick left on walnut. studio on your left.

if you're closer to the american river side — anywhere off arden-garden connector or kenneth avestanley avenue → marconi east is a touch faster and a much prettier drive. you'll wind up through the older bungalow blocks and arrive at marconi with the studio just minutes ahead.

from east carmichael

simplest route is marconi avenue west. you'll pass through the dewey commercial stretch, cross sunrise, and continue about two miles into carmichael proper. just past manzanita, take a left on walnut. studio on your right.

if traffic on marconi looks heavy, winding way west → manzanita south is the residential bypass — quieter, slightly longer, and gets you in through the back door.

a few things worth knowing before you arrive:

doors close five minutes after class starts. plan to walk in ten minutes early — it gives you time to sign in, grab water, and find your reformer without rushing.

grip socks are required. if you forgot a pair, we sell them at the front.

leave the outside world at the door. that's the whole point.
